M1 the importance of keeping fault logs

The reason why that this is important is because they show you were the problems has occurred. When you click on the fault log that has an error sign on it. You will then have to click on it for it to tell you what the problem is and were about it is. Fault logs are important because it describes the problem and what category it is. There are three types of logos that get used in the fault logs the first one is red and what this means is that the problem is bad and needs to be fixed fast, the second one is yellow what this means is that the problem is not that bad but the computer will run better if it was fixed, the third one is green and what that means is that the computer is running fine

Another reason why that the fault logs are important is because if the problem was to occur again you will know how to fix it and it will also help you learn who to solve the problem without having to look at the notes. if you want to know how you can fix the fault you can left click on the fault when you have done that go on to properties and copy and paste the fault description in Google to help you find a solution to fixing the problem.

paper based fault logs,  this type of log has all the details of the computer faults, what the paper logs do is describes the problem and what category the problem is in the hardware or software, it also has the problem description and what was done to solve it, this is important because it will make the life easier for the technician because all they will have to do is refer back to the fault logs and look at the description and how it was solved.
